The Historic Downtown of Chandler may not be a museum but it is free for everyone to see. It is registered on the National Registry of Historic Buildings and boasts art galleries, shops and restaurants in nostalgic buildings of the past.

Desert West Park and Sports Complex has a skateboard plaza to provide a safe place for skateboarders to practice their skills. This park also has a community center as well as lighted courts for softball, tennis, sand volleyball, basketball and handball. The lagoon is open for fishing year round.
